Nick Cranston
Managing Director
BA (Hons); Tech Arbor A, NC Hort (Arb), IOSH (NEBOSH gen cert)
Nick started the company in 2005 and has worked in the industry for 19 years. Formally an ArmyCaptain, Nick is university degree qualified and has been determined that the company sets the highest standards in customer care as well as exceptional tree work. Whilst Nick undertakes most of our tree reports, he is still relied upon as a climbing arborist, too.
Nick enjoys building long lasting relationships with our customers and much of his time is spent advising people on how to care for their trees over future years. Nick is a role model for all at Acer Tree Surgeons and a great mentor.
In his spare time Nick ‘enjoys’ the challenge of triathlons and extreme events. Last year Nick, Adam and Roy completed the arduous 7-day Marathon des Sables in the Sahara. Nick then followed this up with an Iron Man in Lanzarote. This year he’ll be undertaking two or three half Iron Man triathlons and the epic Badlands gravel ultra race in Sierra Nevada (800km over 16,000m)
